Why are we called "Lombardi" Racing?
Lella Lombardi
She was the first woman to score points in a Grand Prix, and the first driver to score a career total of 0.5 points. She inspire us with our objective of getting more women involved in engineering.
ABOUT us
Lombardi Racing FSAE Team is part of a national collegiate competition, Formula SAE. FSAE is part of the Collegiate Design Series put on by the Society of Automotive Engineers to test collegiate student with a demanding hands on research, design, and development project.
Lombardi Racing consist of students from the University of Texas at El Paso from the College of Engineering, Bussiness, and Liberal Arts.
Our highest priority is to take the vehicle to competition, pass technical inspection and complete all dynamic events. Carve the path for a successful FSAE team at UTEP, And lay the foundation for future generations.
